After indulging in many other mediums, the need to incorporate
my life experiences, my oneness with nature through the sculpting
of stone, has endowed me with the knowledge that the stone
also has much to say as to how it is manipulated.
That is really the case with all mediums, yet stone has energy
and very definite strengths of characteristics that I find
most challenging.
In finding its weaknesses, ridding the piece of its "infirmities",
permits me to see what it has in mind and must become. It
is the working of two minds, that culminate into a work to
be enjoyed in depth of spirit, by form.
Sculpting presents a great challenge in finding out what each
piece is all about internally. I have never been so content
with the outcome, as I have been in finding out about my true
destiny in the search for a medium.
